Yes, it is highly recommended to use WiFi whenever possible and save your wireless data for times when you don’t have access to WiFi. Numerous locations, such as libraries, Starbucks, McDonald’s, Target, Taco Bell, Subway, KFC, Lowes, Best Buy, and others, provide free WiFi services.

The amount of free data, minutes and texts you receive will depend on what plan you are eligible for.

WiFi is when you are connected to your home internet service or in a location that provides free WiFi internet service like libraries, Starbucks, McDonald’s, Target, Taco Bell, Subway, KFC, Lowes, and Best Buy.  When you are outside of WiFi coverage, your tablet will automatically switch to cellular wireless internet which is provided by a carrier like T-Mobile, Verizon or AT&T.  In the top right corner of your tablet, swipe down and you will see if you are connected to a wireless carrier or a WiFI network.  You can also click on this button to either turn your WiFi or wireless internet service on or off.
